The Environmental Citizen

The founders of Earth Day and the early voices in the environmental movement predicted a future of extinctions, deforestation, water pollution and the eventual jeopardy of the human race. That prediction has proven prophetic as the population of the Earth is set to surpass 7 billion. ( It as 3.2 billion at the time Earth Day was created).

This is what I like most about owning a green business — raising the social and environmental questions in the marketplace and working with our customers and suppliers to raise the bar on the answers.

In the absence of government accountability, unscrupulous companies have used the Somali Coast line as a dumping ground for all manner of toxic waste, both nuclear and chemical.
